Mangatha is the 50th film of Ultimate Star Ajith. The story is still not revealed but the genre is going to be Action, Thriller and Comedy. This teaser has increased the expectations for the movie among Ajith fans.

Kollywood's master film-maker S. Shankar's forthcoming science fiction film Endhiran, starring superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles, will grace theatres on September 10, 2010 (Ramzan-Vinayaka Chaturthi weekend). There are reports that the film will release in 2000 screens worldwide, the highest ever for a Tamil film. Reportedly the director is currently busy with the post production works. Endhiran (also spelt as Enthiran) brings back the famous duo of Superstar Rajinikanth and director Shankar after their blockbuster Sivaji the boss. Endhiran is also special for its choreography by Prabhu Deva. Lyrics by Vairamuthu, art direction by Sabu Cyril and cinematography by Ratnavelu comprise a regular Shankar team. The director has also roped in Oscar winner Resul Pookutty for sound effects; it is also said that a unique sound effect has been created for the film. The story of Endhiran is set in the future, when new and bizarre fashion fads would come into existence. That is the reason Rajinikanth walks the sets of Endhiran in costumes that are quite hard to initially appreciate, but look absolutely great on him. Envisaging future fashion fads, costume designer Manish Malhotra and Aalim have worked extensively on Rajinikanth's look in Endhiran.

Remember Uma Krishnan, the gorgeous mother of actress Trisha! She will appear in a guest role in the Kamal Haasan-Trisha starrer Manmadha Ambu directed by K.S. Ravikumar. Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music for this film produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin under Red Giant Movies banner. Meanwhile, a 90 member crew, including the lead pair, left for France recently to begin the first shooting schedule. A major part of the film will be shot in Italy, Spain, and Greece. Kamal has scripted the story and screenplay and also composed some lyrics for this film in which Madhavan will also play a prominent role. Manmadhan Ambu will be a Diwali treat for Kollywood fans!

I am not a cricket aficionado. But, from Saturday night to Monday morning, there is nothing about Mahendra Singh Dhoni that I don’t know. That’s not bad since he does don the India colours. But now I also know all about an unknown Sakshi Rawat. So MSD didn’t marry the girl he was expected to marry, but that didn’t make it any less intriguing, or fun.

The wedding was a well-kept secret, since Bipasha Basu has been telling us on Twitter that it was not sudden, but pre-planned. Weddings never are, are they? Incidentally that puts paid to my journo friend’s comment which says hurry means lots to worry.

We also know MSD’s sehra was made by Charandas of Dehradun’s Paltan Bazaar for Rs 10,000.

And, did you see the hapless local who was delivering supplies to the venue and had cameras and microphones thrust at him?

But we are still missing the important detail: What are the honeymoon plans? What? No news?

The audio system plays USBs via a separately sold adapter and features a front AUX input. The VXi variant we drove is pretty loaded what with four door-mounted speakers, power windows all round, tilt adjustable steering, remote central locking, internally adjustable ORVMs, ABS and front airbags. However I rued the lack of an anti-glare rear-view mirror. The silver-finish plastic inserts are cleverly used and look good too. Thankfully the new WagonR has a new steering wheel, and not the Swift one that adorns most of the Maruti range from the A-star to the Grand Vitara.
